The basics
Generators tend to have reliable stamina for work they care about. Their strategy is to respond: instead of chasing ideas from scratch, they wait for something real to react to — a request, a job posting, an invitation to help — and notice whether the gut says yes or no. When the answer is a clear yes, they can often work long hours without burning out.
Environments that offer plenty of hands-on work and clear tasks tend to fit Generators well. Roles in building, craft, care, teaching, or steady operations often suit them, because these give the gut lots of chances to say yes.
The common trap is saying yes out of duty or pressure. When Generators commit to work the gut never agreed to, the result is often a slow grind of frustration and fatigue.
In practice
A Generator might notice that a coworker's casual question about a side project sparks an immediate, physical yes, while a prestigious-sounding offer lands flat and heavy.
