The basics

What is a Reflector in Human Design?

Reflectors tend to take in and amplify whatever surrounds them. In a healthy team they often feel great; in a tense one they may feel off within minutes, long before anyone says a word. This makes them unusually good barometers for how a family, workplace, or community is really doing.

Because their inner state shifts with company and setting, their strategy for big decisions is to wait a lunar cycle: give major choices about a month, so the decision can be viewed from many different moods and days before locking in.

Choosing the right places and people matters more for Reflectors than for any other type. The trap is deciding quickly under pressure, or blaming themselves for feelings they have merely absorbed from the room.

In practice

How does a Reflector show up in daily life?

A Reflector might notice they feel drained every day in one office and oddly energized in another, even though the job duties are almost identical.
